Demirören TV (Kanal D) has been dealing with resignations after appointing new CEO for the whole TV group.
Kanal D General Manager Murat Saygı resigned at the beginning of December in response to the appointment of CNN Türk General Manager Murat Yancı as Demirören Medya TV Group President. It has been reported that Saygı has already signed a new position as the CEO of Turkey’s biggest production companies, Medyapım.
Shortly after Saygı’s resignation in December 2021, Demirören TV’s CTO Erkal Filiz joined the C-level resignations. It is reported that the group’s CFO Burak Çataltepe resigned in February 2022.
