The ban on Turkish TV series, which has been going on for a while in the United Arab Emirates, was lifted as a result of the diplomatic rapprochement of the two countries. The recent visit of the Crown Prince of the Emirate and the de facto ruler of Abu Dhabi, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan,  softened political tensions between Turkey and UAE.

Many Turkish TV and content representatives participated in the television content fair held in Dubai between 24-25 November 2021, and sought new markets for Turkish TV series.
